Junior Sales Representative



Optimalex is an international AI based insurtech start-up based in the US.

We are looking for a candidate who will contact leaders of claim departments at multiple Insurance companies, AMLaw 200 Firms, Corporate Counsel departments and third-party funders. The candidate will generate leads and sales of software to decision makers throughout each of the industries.

You will work in a collaborative and international atmosphere with senior academics and practitioners in Computer Science, Law, Economy and Finance, to market a SaaS tool to predict the judiciary outcome of claims and cases, whether litigated or settled, and quantify damages. This position offers the right candidate an opportunity to play an important role in the next technical revolution of the legal and insurance sphere: our software can potentially redefine liabilities for insurance companies and the way cases are settled or litigated. You will be part of a team that is creating groundbreaking predictive algorithms for insurance companies, law firms, corporations, third party funders and government organizations.

Time Requirement:

This is a full-time position, ideally designed for a second job software sales person with a maximum of 2-4 years work experience. Work is remote by default but can be adapted. Candidates will benefit from coaching from founders, Chief Customer Officer and should start working ASAP.


We'll trust you to:

  • Generate and maintain a pipeline of prospects and clients

  • Have a working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ability to learn Seamless, etc.

  • Book appointments and video meetings

  • Use your written and verbal communication skills to maximize results

  • Work with senior executives ranging from Claim, Technology and Legal Departments

  • Work ethically both in autonomy and in collaboration with your team

  • Effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams residing in different continents


You will need to have:

  • Native english speaking

  • College Degree and/or related work experience in enterprise software sales

  • 2 years minimum proven experience with sales

  • Experience calling into corporations; Insurance or law firms preferred.

  • Enthusiasm for learning state-of-the-art predictive legal technologies
